Pain & Gain (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy) (2013)

Pain & GainI am really troubled by this Story and Entertained by the way it was presented. The troubling part is that this is said to be a true story.

***Stop reading if you don't like spoilers.***

The story starts with Daniel Lugo (Mark Wahlberg) running from what is an obvious raid on his place of employment, he's hit by a car and then the story flashes back to 6 Months earlier.

Daniel is a personal trainer at a local Miami Gym and he comes in contact with a very well to do Colombian-Jewish Entrepreneur. The Entrepreneur's name is withheld to protect the innocent but, needless to say, this guy hires Daniel as Personal Trainer and begins to tell him all about his success in life.

Now Daniel attends a Johnny Wu (Never actually happened) seminar where he is convinced he is A doer and only needs to come up with a plan then make it happen.

One thing leads to another Daniel recruits his two friends, Paul and Adrian, to come up with a plan of how they're going to take the Entrepreneurs life, money, and property away to make it their own.

Needless to say, this whole thing leads to kidnapping, extortion, fraud, attempted murder, a double murder, and two death penalties for 6 months of living the high life.

The acting was decent overall but, playing three dumb, homicidal, muscle heads (no this is not an insult to weight lifters, these guys really were dumb) probably isn't all that challenging.

The movie itself was actually very entertaining, disturbing, and actually well done. I was given tickets to a screening but, I would have honestly paid to see this movie had I not known what I know now.

If you're okay with somewhat morbidly bizarre comedies then you won't be disappointed by this. My biggest struggle with the movie was the glamorization of some very violent and tasteless acts. This is evidenced by the fact Lugo wasn't stupid, some characters were fictional and some were only half fictional and the wife of doorbal actually aided in the cleanup of the two homicides. In other words, Michael Bay and company went out of the way to make this story more funny than it really was.

Seriously, there are somethings that cannot be unseen or unlearned and this movie has both of these elements. I would have blissfully enjoyed my suspended reality had they not have flashed across the screen a reminder that it was still a true story amidst two people trying to return a chainsaw with blood and hair on it and the other guy grilling hand that were chopped off their victims. At that point, the movie went from more funny than disturbing to more disturbing than funny.

I dunno, call me old fashioned but, I cannot in good conscience laugh at somebody else's misfortune unless, I suspend reality.

Pain & Gain (2013)Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Rebel Wilson, Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Ken Jeong

Premise: Danny Lugo (Wahlberg) is a body builder who is sick of being poor. With his friend, Adrian (Mackie), and an ex-con (Johnson), Danny decides to rob a spoiled and egotistical businessman named Victor Kershaw (Shalhoub). After seemingly succeeding, Kershaw turns to a private investigator (Harris) to recover his finances and deal with the trio...But everything gets out of hand quickly.

Thoughts: This is a Michael Bay film. As such, it matches his general off-kilter aesthetics and love of the "BOOM, BANG, BOOM". That said, this is different from his most recent endeavors (i.e. the Transformers) in that it is exceedingly more violent. However, the cast give morbidly entertaining performances which quickly helped make this a much more enjoyable film. Visually intense, dark and even surprisingly violent at times the film is an enjoyable dark "R" comedy.

Should you buy it: This comes down to a matter of taste. Do you regularly enjoy Michael Bay films? Then yes, this is a pretty good purchase. I intend to buy it on Bluray since I found it to be quite enjoyable despite the dark content. Unwilling to commit? Rent away!

"It was hard to laugh so messed up" That was how the couple in front of me aptly put it as they were leaving the theater.

This movie many times makes the claim "this is a true story" and while it is based on actual criminal events, "a true story" is a stretch. Doyle, the most interesting of the three characters, is a fictional composite of people who had much smaller roles in the crime spree than Lugo and Adriane, and liberties are taken with characterizations of victims and the details. True-crime buffs who want to know more should read one of the excellent books out there for the complete story. Also, Pain and Gain true story? is a good blog that quickly outlines what parts of the movie did and did not really happen.

That aside, looking at this as purely for its entertainment value, it is a fast paced film with a captivating, twisted story line that is not for the squeamish.

I love both Rebel Wilson and Ken Jeong and like a smart, dark comedy. However, I found the casting of these two comedians in this movie (as well as some of the sight-gags) to be a distraction. They are more laugh out loud funny and didn't mesh well into this dark tale.

At the end the narrator explains to us that our take away is to appreciate what we have. I've also heard Michael Bay in interviews say that's what he was going for. I didn't see it. Really what did these criminals have of real worth to begin with? I'd say the message is even for shallow, dissatisfied, and self-absorbed people money doesn't insure happiness and ill-gained money comes with lots of complications. So even though it pretty much sucks, stick with your pathetic little existence.

My guess is that mainstream audiences will find this movie uncomfortable and that it will be in and out of theaters pretty quickly, but will find a niche market on DVD.

This is a true story that reads like dumb crook news. Daniel Lugo (Mark Wahlberg) is a muscle headed body builder who is inspired in ironic fashion by unorthodox motivational speaker Johnny Wu (Ken Jeong). With the aid of two other body builders, Paul Doyle (Dwayne Johnson) and Adrian Doorbal (Anthony Mackie) they devise a plan to kidnap and extort money from Colombian businessman Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub).

They fumble their way through the operation and become greedy. It is clear these guys were not bright. The writers created dialouge for these crooks in order to lighten the story and to keep them from looking like complete idiots. Fictional aspects such as making the nurse (Rebel Wilson) look heavy-set with portraying Doorbal as liking those type of women kept the story from becoming dry.

The beginning of the film demonstrates some humor as Danny names fictional characters as his heroes..."There are no shortcuts to the American dream" he proclaims. In spite of the efforts made by the writers, the film somehow loses its hook and charm as you wait for it to end.

Parental Guide: F-bombs, sex, and nudity. Porn star Nikki Benz is one of the unnamed strippers.

Many years ago I asked a friend of mine who was from a totally different culture, "What is the single biggest difference between your culture and the American culture?" Her answer was startling! She was surprised by how much Americans idealize criminals! I hope after people watch Pain & Gain that will no longer be true!

Keep in mind Pain & Gain is a true story, which makes it extraordinarily disturbing! Anyone reading this film review may someday, unwittingly, cross paths with people who are as evil and ruthless as the three men in this story are. It's a cautionary tale for us all! One bad guy is charming. One is a bit simple-minded and the other is so ordinary he could easily be your next door neighbor. But they all have one thing in common: They are incredibly selfish and if you get in their way, they are going to kill you.

I have lived in both South Florida and Connecticut and I've seen plenty of snotty rich people who are full of themselves and flaunt their wealth. But does that justify stealing from them and killing them? Two of these three men had steady employment at a half decent job, and they are certainly not starving! What could possibly drive them to such incredible acts of depravity and insanity?

The answer is simple! All three of these thugs wanted wealth and to some degree a glamorous lifestyle. Isn't that what advertising and the rest of the media constantly tells us: We can't be satisfied until were are all both rich and glamorous? That if you're not at least Upper Middle Class, you're some sort of loser or failure?

I was once an Catholic altar boy and I used to attend many Baptisms. There was one question the priest always asks the Godparents that stuck in my mind: "Priest: Do you reject the glamour of evil and refuse to be mastered by sin?" I could never totally understand what the "glamour of evil" meant. How can evil possibly be glamorous? Pain & Gain makes you realize how seductive and glamorous evil can be for anyone who, ironically, is not a strong person!

Coming to America & Trading Places

Coming to America & Trading Places This is a fantastic deal on these two Bluray discs. You'll save a bundle (currently about $15 as of 1-24-09) compared to buying them individually.

I'm not going to review the movies themselves; however, I will tell you that as of today (1-24-09), Amazon's technical details for this two-pack are incorrect. The aspect ratio is incorrectly listed as 1.33:1. Those of us geeky enough to care about aspect ratios know that Blu-ray does not release 1.33:1 (or "pan-and-scan") movies, unless this was their original release format. Luckily both of these movies are presented in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. This is truly a double-pack of each individual Blu-ray movie.

If you're interested in the extras or the visual aspects of the Blu-ray editions, go ahead and check out the individual reviews for each disc. I just wanted to clarify what this double-pack is...as Amazon's poor description led me to purchase it only when I found it at a local brick & mortar (to double check it).

I was really surprised by the superb video quality of these 2 movies on bluray. Clarity and colors get a huge boost compared to the old DVDs. Granted it will never equal the glossy transfers of newer films on bluray but taking into account these films were from the 80s, these are the best they will ever get to look for quite some time to come. And the nude scene of Jamie Lee Curtis in her prime in total HD glory---worth every cent I paid.;)

John Landis collaboration with Eddie Murphy resulted in these two movies which are gathered in a single Blu-Ray release, They are both worth it for anyone who has not, by any chance, seen them. They are not masterpieces, mind you, but they hold very well as comedies whose focus in centred on social issues. In my opinion, I like Trading Places best, and Aykroyd and Jamie Curtis, not Murphy, steal the show with a well balanced interpretation of their roles.

What a perfect combo Blu. I would have to say that time has not been kind to these films but the transfer is overall god. The picture quality is so good in fact that when you see Zamunda for the first time you will notice that everyone is a fake painting in front of a fake painted wall. I guess that is the price we pay for advanced technology placated on older films that were at the height of their quality when made. As for Trading Places, I love that movie and it is a true classic that can be enjoyed no matter how perfect or not perfect the transfer is.

The War of the Roses (Filmmaker Signature Series) (2012)

The War of the RosesHow do you hold on to someone who want stay and how do you get reed of someone who want leave?

Oliver and Barbara (Douglas and Turner) meet at the auction. With instant chemistry between the two they are soon married. Typical American family perfect house, 2 children, work-slave husband and bored wife. As time goes by, Barbara realizes that she no longer likes Oliver and asks for a divorce. Unfortunately for her Oliver is still crazy about her, but agrees to give her the divorce. And as we all though this would be just another civilized split, all hell breaks loose. Barbara wants to keep the house that she found and decorated, but Oliver (who paid for it) will not give it up either. And after an advice from his lawyer (DeVito) he moves back into the house. While Barbara is determined to get Oliver to leave and Oliver is trying to rekindle the romance, there civilized coexistence quickly becomes very interesting.

Believe it or not I have not given much of the movie away. Yes, you now know what the basic story is, but to watch it is a completely different. Three of the return after two successful movies and deliver performances that's unmatched by anything else in there carriers. This film is one of the darkest comedies you'll ever watch. And I believe that everyone should watch it at least once. It'll make you think twice about a lot of things in life. Absolutely brilliant. An ending that will stay with you for a long time.

And when a person making $400.00/hr wants to tell you a story for free, you should listen to it.

It'd be a little redundant at this point out this film is a black comedy. That'd be like stating that Scream is a horror movie. But what exactly makes War of the Roses so funny yet so bleak? In my opinion it's the same type of entertainment one gets from listening to really nasty juicy gossip. Like when your tech-ed teacher tells you why it's bad to get your hair or fingers too close to the sanding machines.

The film is narrated by DeVito, a lawyer retelling a tale he lived through when dealing with a once happily married couple... an especially materialistic married couple! So the entire movie switches from 'past' to 'present,' focusing mostly on the story of the soon to be unhappy lovers. After their so-called civil divorce, they are both determined to keep the dream house they both contributed to, and Oliver, the once husband, is determined to keep his former wife, Barbara, who can't stand him to the point of making them both miserable! From here, the story just gets crueler and more bizarre...

So if you're the type of person who likes to listen to stories where terrible things happen to ordinary and fallible people, if you watch car races to see a crash, or you laugh during the news, chances are you'll enjoy this movie, and other black comedies for that matter. If you like stories with resolve or warmth, or if you're an animal lover, you best stay clear of this unrelenting comedy classic.

So why four stars? Well, perhaps I just recognize that there are some people who will find this movie hysterical, and some who will just plain not find it funny at all.

Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas star in this movie with a chemistry greater than either of their previous films together, namely Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile. Their shared screen time is filled with a frenzied mixture of passion, anger, lust, devotion, and resentment, a relationship that, however abstract and unrealistic it is skewed in this movie, reflects what's left of a lot of relationships once the lust leaves the marriage, or once a couple finally spends some time together (i.e. after the kids have left the nest).

It has been a long standing joke that once the kids go to college or leave the nest, many spouses find themselves wondering: "Who the hell did I marry?" Things that were never noticed now are found nagging; a sensitive husband suddenly becomes controlling; a neat homemaker suddenly becomes obsessively compulsive; a mother, now that her duties are cut, becomes anxious to get out of the house. This is exactly what this movie relates, from the Roses' passionate meeting, to their years of "struggle" as Douglas' character builds his career to support his growing family, to their subsequent wealth and success, and finally a lull is reached when they are wealthy and suceessful, yet they have nowhere seemingly left to go.

One of the things that a lot of viewers seemingly miss while watching the movie is the greater picturethe Rose's marriage was one built on attraction and lust. While that has been enough to sustain many marriages, this is not the case here. After the lust leaves the marriage the couple begins to notice every irritating thing the other half does, which is what happens in a lot of marriages. The difference here is that their personalities, both being uncompromising, ambitious, and, yes, more than a tad sadistic, cause Turner's and Douglas' characters to take things past the point where any realisic (i.e. amiable) seperation is possible.

Perhaps it is just me, but if anything I find this movie to affirm marriage, as long as it takes place out of mutual love and respect, not just lust. Sure this movie delivers plenty of shock power and may leave you with a feeling of bitterness, but overall this, as Devito's character (a lawyer and the narrator) mentions, is a "cautionary tale." Keep that in mind and you will find yourself wriggling in your seat with laughter and shock from the onscreen antics as Douglas and Turner terrorize each other onscreen.

I have heard of this movie before but I had no idea what kind of a ride I was about to be taken on and let me tell you this flick is crazy! Here you have a man and a woman who have a good marriage and suddenly it goes kablam! They are like the ham and cheese cafeteria sandwich cut in half and placed with their backs to each other; the angry lovers on opposite sides of the bed...

Watching Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner slowly descended to a discord in their relationship, more her than him, is a never ending guillotine of a ride. The trials and tabulations in the movie are a parody on a bad marriage gone funny with opposite sides playing a Civil War witch each other, as neither one wants to move out of the "gorgeous" house they have made together.

Yes this movie is about a house and two stubborn people who play nasty tricks ala' Home Alone on each other with no mercy, often drawing some major laughs out of anyone who watches it.Also I need to give props to the climactic ending which is quite shocking and makes you think about this black comedy longer then you though possible as this story is quite intricate and has some great and funny outcomes, its not some empty comedy that gives you headache at the end or makes you angry about missing two hours of your life. This film is smart, funny, has the husband and wife ruin each others house parties, cars, jobs, friends and behave as if they are above all laws and just when you think they will patch it up some crazy event interrupts them with a mound of consequences growing like a hungry volcano. And the you watch it erupt! Enjoy.

This is possibly one of my best movies of all time. The fact that a wonderful marriage started out with a huge family house and nice cars always meant that disaster at some point in the marriage would strike.Michael Douglas is at his very best in this film and when his wife one day turns round to him and says " Everytime i see your face i want to smash your face in" he has more than a battle on his hands to keep his estate. Danny Devito also plays a part as his wisdom is needed as a lawyer to sort out the messed up situation. This film is very gripping and the humour of the film is tremendous. A must see and buy film straight away, it will under no cicumstances dissappoint you unless you are currently filing for a divorce!

Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (Blu-Ray + DVD) (2010)

Rare Exports: A Christmas TaleLooking for something off the beaten path this Christmas season? The Finnish oddity "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale" might just be the cure for your holiday blues. Part fantasy, part horror, part black humor--this delightful film manages to adhere to traditional Christmas movie conventions while upending them at the same time. It's an unusually deft balance that makes this both hard edged and heartfelt. While not a perfect movie--once the main action begins, things fall rather too conveniently into place--it is distinguished by its brilliantly bold concept. And despite minor reservations, I have to award "Rare Exports" my respect for its unorthodox story line and wickedly acerbic sense of humor. Destined for cult movie status, I have no doubt that this film will perplex some viewers. But for adventurous movie lovers, I can't think of a better antidote to typical holiday fare.

Set in north Finland, the reindeer population is found dead by local herders . Maybe it has something to do with an American work crew excavating a nearby mountain. There is a disturbing legend about Santa in these parts. It seems that the jolly old fellow wasn't so jovial, but instead was quite evil. He was killed and buried in these hills according to lore and it seems that the Americans might be looking for the genuine Santa Claus. As with any good Christmas story, the protagonist is a spirited boy with a hard scrabble life. Spying on the dig, he can't believe what is discovered. But when strange and scary happenings start to consume the town, will he be able to make anyone understand the evil that has been unleashed? It's such a terrific premise, done with slow burn precision. As opposed to an all out assault on your senses, this sly film methodically ratchets up the creepiness and the macabre humor.

This is a bizarre and highly original winner. The plot twists and turns and the climax is refreshingly satisfying. The wintry locales, the propulsive soundtrack, and the good effects add weight to the narrative. But perhaps the film's greatest asset is in its lead performance. So self assured and polished, it's easy to envision this alternate world through his eyes. His relationship with his father is sweet and realistic despite the surreal feel of the picture. I loved this movie, truly, and have no doubt that it will continue to captivate more adventurous audiences as word spreads through the DVD release. For those looking for family entertainment, I would not recommend this to small children (hopefully that is already clear). But for anyone looking for a new holiday viewing tradition, check this out. This will join A Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life as our yearly favorites. It's not perfect--but its sheer inventiveness makes up for any shortcomings. KGHarris, 8/11.

We saw this film at our local cinema, not knowing anything about it. From the opening moments we were gripped and engaged by a wonderful combination I have never experienced in a movie before: interplays of mythology, environment, politics. We left the film with our jaws still dropped. It's beautifully produced, amazingly authentic acting, and like nothing else you will see. The story line is very human and ultimately inspiring. I'm sorry that many people missed it at the cinema, so do get the DVD!

First I saw the trailer. Then, I saw the movie in the theater. Then, I joyfully bought the Blue Ray/DVD, which comes with both Blue Ray and a regular DVD, which I gave to a good friend of mine from Finland.

Rare Exports is a rather tense thriller/black comedy. I wouldn't recommend for children even though the movie has brilliant child actors in it. The cool thing about this film is that it wipes away the gloss and pizzazz of today's Coca-Cola Santa, and brings back the true meaning of "..you better watch out, you better not cry...". At first I was apprehensive about watching a foreign film, but after a few minutes I found reading the subtitles easy because there wasn't that much to read. A lot of action takes place with suggestion at every corner. I hate to give away any spoilers, except that you will love this cult classic and beware of shopping mall Santa's.

Thank you Amazon for shipping it quickly!

I Can Do Bad All By Myself (2009)

I Can Do Bad All By MyselfWhen Madea catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April. A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of Raymond, her married boyfriend, April wants nothing to do with the kids. But her attitude begins to change when Sandino, a handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work, moves into April's basement room. Making amends for his own troubled past, Sandino challenges April to open her heart. And April soon realizes she must make the biggest choice of her life: between her old ways with Raymond and the new possibilities of family, faith and even true love. I have all of Tyler Perry's movies and plays, and this movie is very entertaining. No one does it better but Tyler Perry.

Once again Tyler Perry has blessed us with another screen banger. I love Tyler Perry because he is always able to bring it home. I can't even began to put in words how much I love this move.

This is another excellent movie in the Tyler Perry collection. While it keeps you pulled in, you can't help but to realize that the story is similar to most of the other Perry movies. There's always the abused woman who finally realizes how bad her life is, takes action and ultimately finds true love. The rest of the intense moments and story are just padding for the rest of the movie.

Don't get me wrong, they're great movies, but they're starting to become predictable due to the same direction they always seem to go. It's definitely worth a watch and is way better than some of the other trash out there in the movie store.

Class of Nuke 'Em High

Class of Nuke 'Em HighI am not going to review this movie on here but I can say one thing about it and that it is one of Troma's best films. Ok with that said I am going to go more into a comparison between the 2 formats and if it's worth the upgrade. Well first off the DVD version is in the 1:33:1 (Full Screen) aspect ratio which sucks if you have a HD TV and the blu-ray is in the 1:85:1 (Widescreen) apect ratio which is great if you have an HD TV. Now when it comes to the picture quality I have to say that the Blu-Ray does look better, it's not perfect but does look better. The audio also seems to be better. Overall I would have to say that if you are a fan of this film then I suggest you pick this one up!

Let me start off by saying that this is one of the better Troma films but not better than the toxic avenger.Nuke em high is about a nuclear power plant that leaks into Tromaville high causing students to mutate.Thats preatty much the plot without taking about the createns, but this is a Troma movie so who cares about the plot.Fans of Troma will love this but those who don't might want to look eleswhere.Followed but two sequels that shouldn't have ever been made.

Rating: 5-"This is a special rating for bad films that are fun to watch. Because they are inherently difficult to rate, they receive 5's because there is much that is terrible about them, but much that is often unintentionally amusing as well. Or they can be bad films made to be bad or camp. They may have intentional merits, also. Everyone should stay away except for connoisseurs of enjoyably bad films."

At various times good, bad, enjoyable and irritating, Class of Nuke 'Em High is a grade C film that was intentionally made to be a grade C film. The plot concerns a nuclear power plant that's run by a whole team of Homer Simpsons. Not only are they having periodic mini-disasters, but one of the employees has been growing marijuana in a restricted outside area and selling it to kids at the local high school, which is only a quarter mile down the road. The high school kids are exposed to nuclear waste both through the marijuana and through a water supply contamination, and it turns some of them into pulsating radioactive superheroes, disintegrates others, and for the former honor society, it turned them into an overacting group of Mad Max rejects. There is one scene in the movie which is especially bad where supposed actor, Brett Weston, playing a corpse gets gang raped by a bunch of covermounters and can distinctively be seen smiling as he recieves wave after wave of punishment.

A lot of Nuke 'Em High is supposed to be funny, and much of it is. Some of the stuff that's supposed to be funny is simply irritating-this goes for the Mad Max rejects most of the time. Movies like this tend to work better when it's not so obvious that they are trying to spoof genres. When they are trying, it has to be extremely funny in order to work. When they aren't trying-when the filmmakers are trying to make a decent film given their budget, and it still comes out bad, the little unintentionally funny bits are enjoyable. It's the difference of laughing at a faux pas as opposed to watching a bad comedian tell a cheesy joke.

The nuclear plant setting, with a wonderfully fake looking matte painting for exterior shots, is unfortunately underused-the plant employee characters were enjoyable, funny and there was a lot more potential for them. Several other auxiliary characters should have been used more, also, but the two goody-two-shoe protagonists are well cast and do an admirable job.

Classified as horror, Nuke 'Em High doesn't even approach that genre for a large chunk of the first half. That's too bad because it works best when it's violent. The scene with the old lady carrying groceries, the alleyway brawl, the coup d'etat in the principles office, the bathroom fight scene, etc. are all among this films best.

Recommendation: Overall, Nuke 'Em High is a mixed bag, and my evaluation while I was watching it continually vacillated between "bad bad" and "good bad." Troma films fans are bound to enjoy this to some extent, although most fans are more than likely already familiar with this Troma staple. Other than Troma fans, approach this film only if you enjoy cheesy B and C movies. It's not the best "turkey," but it is tasty enough for Thanksgiving.

Class of Nuke 'Em High. It's a title that I've loved for a very long time due to its weirdness, gross-out gore effects, and humor. This is not a film to take seriously, but you should already know that seeing as how it's part of the famous (or infamous?) Troma library. I recently sold my DVD copy of the film in order to "upgrade" to Blu-Ray. I realize that not EVERY Blu-Ray is going to look and sound like Iron Man, but the quality of the Blu-Ray print leaves much to be desired. In all honesty, the print was rather ho-hum. It appeared to be of no better quality than an old DVD of the film. I'm not sure if this is simply a combination of the film being low budget to begin with and that the original print really isn't very good, or if this release was simply rushed to cash in on the Blu-Ray craze. But that's the thing with Blu-Ray...sometimes I'm absolutely amazed at how well an old title can look on Blu-Ray (a superb example being American Werewolf in London), but other times (such as this) I just have to ask myself what the point was of releasing this on Blu-Ray. This is an essential film to own (if you're into movies like this), but not an essential Blu-Ray to own.

I have seen this film many times and never get tired of it. I would mention the plot, but who cares about the plot in a film like this? For some reason, this isn't as respected as The Toxic Avenger, and I wonder why. The laughs in this film are nonstop and any comedy fan should check this film out.
